Penzap on a computer

Penzap works in any computer browser. These extras are in Menu → On this computer (shown on computers only).

Start page: open penzap.com/start. It shows your remote with a search box (Google, Bing or DuckDuckGo); type a website address to go straight there. To open it every time, tap Make this my home page for the steps for Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
Keyboard keys: in Use mode, your first ten buttons show small numbers. Press 1 to 9 and 0 to tap them. On the start page, press / to jump to the search box.
Floating mini remote (Chrome and Edge): Menu → On this computer → Floating mini remote. A small remote stays on top of your other windows; websites from it open in your browser. It closes when you close the Penzap tab.
Bookmarks into buttons: export your bookmarks from your browser (Chrome or Edge: Bookmark manager → ⋮ → Export bookmarks), then Menu → My designs → Bookmarks into buttons and choose that file. Tick the sites you want and tap Add buttons. They fill the empty spots on your remote; the file stays on your computer.
Open on my phone: Menu → On this computer → Open on my phone shows a code. Point your phone's camera at it and tap the link: your remote opens on the phone, already signed in.

Good to know

The phone code works once, for 10 minutes. Don't share it: it signs in to your account. Tap New code for another.
Websites from the start page open in the same tab; elsewhere they open in a new tab.
